Cooking Classes – Finally!

I’m excited! I’ve been working on arranging these cooking classes for a while and they are finally up and running.

One of the most important, if not the most critical, part of cooking is adding flavor. The easiest way to impart taste to your food is through sauces.

I’ve designed these three classes to show you precisely how to do that.

The first class is 5 Tricks to Great Flavor and it explains the five flavor enhancers that chefs use to balance and enhance the flavors of the sauces they make. I’ll show you how and you’ll taste the difference.

The second class is Flour-Based Sauces. When fat (butter) and flour are combined with heat, something magical happens. That mixture is known as a roux and it helps bind ingredients so you can turn them into sauces, soups, or casseroles. You’ll learn how to use a roux to make numerous dishes.

The third class is Butter-Based Sauces. Butter is a workhorse in the kitchen. One of its qualities is it makes food taste better. Its versatility makes it the perfect ingredient to make great sauces and enhance the flavor of your food. Learn how to make a variety of sauces and you’ll be amazed at how easy they are.
